I started running again. I was breast feeding I stopped and now I have the freedom to go out and run, give honor to my body, to lose weight. It is painful very painful at the moment, since my muscles are just getting used to running again. But I cannot stop. why? Stay with me here it is for your benefit too.
I hate being fat.
I hate having to deal with extra fat on my belly, huge thighs are not fun for me. I want to keep fit, look slenedr and feel light.
There are many instances in my life when I have been overweight.
- In my first year in college I was around 70 pounds overweight.
- After the birth of my second child I was around 100 pounds overweight.
- Now I am about fifty pounds overweight.
I want to lose the fifty pounds fast.
I know the inconveniences of being fat. If you do not know here are some of the reasons why you may want to lose the fat fast.
I want my jeans to fit. You know how hard it is to fit jeans when you have some bulging heaps. It is a lot of work then you have to walk around like a sausage. I do not like that. To make matter worse, sometimes your heaps are in reverse proportion to the waist.
So you end up with a situation where your hips are a size 18 and waist is a size 16. Now you have jeans that are so wide in the waist area, you literally need a string to tie it in place. Then you may end up wanting to put on a maternity pant, since they have an elastic waist band. This is a real inconvenience.
The second nasty thing about being overweight and wanting to lose the weight fast is the stomach fat. Stomach fat is nasty. You try to put on a nice looking dress or a top and there you have your top pulled up looking out of shape and the whole beauty of the dress just do not show.
I do not like belly fat. The one thing with it is that it is very stubborn. It has to show and it does not go away even when you exercise.

Thirdly being fat leads to some bruises. I did not know this until I got so huge in college. One day I was walking to visit my aunt. I was so bruised between the thighs. That night I was applying Vaseline to heal the bruises and swearing to lose the weight and never be fat again. I said to hell with being fat, I must shed the fat. I cannot add on pounds just to have wounds.
Just as critical it is to lose stomach fat, you also want to lose thigh fat.
I am from a culture where being huge, fat even obese is considered being rich. Whenever I try to lose weight my mum goes ballistic. The other year I went back looking so fit on my 5″6 frame, my mum was convinced beyond any reasonable doubt that I was either sick or my husband was torturing me.
Well to be safe and stay away from obesity and diabetes, the fat grand twins, you have to keep fit. Exercise is really and honor to the body. In addition, apart from having a heavy breakfast, the other meals should be small just to reduce hunger not to fill you up to the brink of death.
Every morning when I go out to exercise it is a pain running around and I feel like giving up. But I love the good feeling after the exercise, it is worth the pain, it makes me go out daily even on Sunday.
