With childhood obesity on the rise it is very important as parents to start feeding our children right. There are so many meals that are messing our children. From fast foods to even some foods advertised as ‘natural’ which happen to add empty calories on children. For example take the case of probiotics non fat yogurt that is super packed with sugar. What is healthy with that?? You can give your children probiotics supplements and give them some healthy yogurt on the side.
The fight for childhood obesity must start with us parents, it is one home at a time, one parent at a time, one child at a time. We cannot let this epidemic rise when we have the weapons to fight it within our reach.
One of the best weapons to fight childhood obesity is the knowledge. Knowing the right food to feed our children, where to get the food, how to prepare them and why are they important.
