does anyone have a sole f85? if so, how well does it perform, you know, dependability, speed, responsiveness, comfort, reliability, etc. also, any problems with the machine?

My Knee and Sole Pads?

I began excersicing in October last year. I started by just using the eleptical. Now I have lost enough weight where I can run. I am using the treadmill. However, my knee is starting to hurt. It is from an injury when I was a kid. The pain is starting to come back to me.

I, too, used the elliptical. I have/had slipped discs in my back.
I think the elliptical makes it easier on your joints so they aren’t as strong as you’d think. When you run/jog on the treadmill you’re pounding and compressing your weaker joints, causing pain..

If I were you i’d do the treadmill until it began to hurt *unless it hurts continuously* and then do the elliptical for the rest of your work out time, maybe adding resistance.

Also make sure you stretch regularly. It helps relieves pressure over time.

How much to sell treadmill for? Belt Cleaning?

I have a 2008 Sole F80 treadmill that I am thinking of selling because I need the money. I have walked on it no more than 5 hours. Does anybody know what a reasonable price would be to sell it? I paid $1500.00 exactly a year ago. Also It has been sitting for so long the top of the belt looks dried out with some marks on it. Is there anything I can use beside Armor All (Injuries don’t sell!) to bring the bold black color back?

Go ahead and use the Armor-all, or a solvent based dressing, and look up your treadmill on Ebay, on their sales site.

You may find one there, check the price.
