The pregnancy and the labor are astonishing. There is nothing more magical than bringing a baby into the world. After labor, however, the body of a woman must get back in shape once again. Many women then want to know how to have flat abs after pregnancy.

For most of women, the first pregnancy is not so bad on the abs. The abdomens get back to normal after six months or so.The further pregnancies, however, seem take a toll on abs of women. You tend to lose elasticity and look like a balloon.

A healthy average woman will gain over 25 pounds of weight during pregnancy. The normal weight gain recommended is about 25-37 pounds if you started healthy. If you were over weight before the pregnancy the weight to gain is about 15-25 pounds. However some women add up to 100 pounds during pregnancy. The fat deposit will always account of the extra fat you will have after the delivery.

The reason the stomach abs get affected are obvious. There is too much stretching when pregnant as the uterus grows to its maximum.

Although it is not necessary to recover your abdomen a lot of women long for flat abs once again. This guide will show you what you need to do to get flat abs after pregnancy.

Eat many fruit and vegetables. When you sit down for a meal, make sure you eat a piece of a fruit and or some a vegetable first. The fruit and the vegetables such as apples, oranges, pears, flower cabbage, broccoli, cucumbers are good. This is because vegetable will make you eat less of other junk food.

In addition eat the fruits and vegetables as snacks. Avoid soda, candy and processed food. It is healthy for you. Nuts like almonds are also very healthy snack options.

Make sure you get some exercise for twenty minutes in a day. YOU do not have run, but it is a good to get out and have a walk. Take time before you get into heavy training. You may want to consult with your doctor first. To work the abs you will need some running but that can come as you build more strength.

There are many ab workouts that can help you have flat abs after pregnancy. They include sit ups and crunches. However I found out that weight lifting is the best.

The following are the advantages of weight lifting to help flatten the abs after pregnancy.

  • You can do them anytime even when watching TV or when the baby is sleeping.
  • You can start small iwth very small weight and increase with time.
  • They do not take a lot of your time.
  • You can do them three times a week, you do not have to do them daily.

To get the best out of the weight lfiting do the following.

  • Make sure you tighten the stomach muscles when doing the weight training (keep the muscles tightened even during the day, this will shape the abs even more).
  • Do not strain the body. Do the exercises till the arms cannot lift the weight anymore.
  • Practice deep breathing during the exercises.
  • Keep well hydrated all the time.

In keeping hydrated, if you are breastfeeding you must drink more and more water to keep you from having headaches and fatigue. Water will also help you burn stomach fat if you combine it with the exercises.

Getting flat abs is not an overnight thing. And especially if you are breastfeeding you do not want to do strenuous exercises. This is to avoid having lactic acid in the milk and also lowering your milk supply. In addition you do not want to strain the body, rest is very important after pregnancy.

On a daily basis make sure you get to move. Walking and very short distance running good to help you lose stomach fat. Weight lifting three times a week will help you target the abs. Eating fruits and vegetables will make you stay full for long and avid adding excess fat in the body. Water will keep you well hydrated and help you lose belly fat.

What is the best way on how to lose fat around the stomach?

I do not know about you, but it took me a very long time to find out how to lose stomach fat. For some reason the fat around my midsection would not just go away. I tried the sit ups and crunches and they worked, but only for a time. In addition they were too painful for me to bear.

So what is the best way on how to lose fat around the stomach?

I call them belly fat busters.

The best way to burn stomach fat and lose fat in general is weight lifting or weight training. Weight lifting makes the muscles burn stored fat and the burning goes on even when you have stopped the exercises.

To burn stomach fat, make sure you do weight lifting three to five times in a week. If you are also trying to lose weight, combine this with your other wight loss activities like running or jogging.

Make sure, you practice good deep breathing techniques to help burn that deep fat around the belly area. In addition do the lifting with the tummy muscles contracted, this way you will train your stomach muscles to tighten always.

Secondly drink more and more water. Water helps to facilitate fat burning in the body. To make your water more powerful, add in apple cider vinegar. Apple cider vinegar is known to speed up body metabolism and thus help you burn stomach fat.

Finally eat more fiber. Fiber will make you eliminate more and thus give the stomach a flat appearance. Fiber also helps to keep you full for a very long time, thus reducing calorie intake. Foods full with fiber include, whole grains, fresh vegetables and beans.

Be warned, most people who start out to lose fat around stomach do not achieve their goal. Why, because they do not target the fat around the belly area. In addition to healthy eating and other exercise, make sure you pay attention to the three mentioned points.

Ab Workouts Do not Cause Stomach fat loss

 

It seems that everyone is always asking me what the best ab workouts are to get a flatter stomach. The common belief that ab workouts will help you to lose belly fat is one of the biggest misconceptions I deal with daily as a fitness professional. Almost everyone has varying degrees of excess body fat in the abdominal region, and the best way to burn off that extra stomach fat continues to elude most.

 

The problem is that most people are searching for the wrong exercises and workout types to lose stubborn belly fat. Most people are searching for some miraculous combination of abs exercises combined into the best ab workout ever invented that will burn off their belly fat faster than you can read this article.

 

Unfortunately, ab-specific workouts do NOT burn fat off of your belly. They only tone and strengthen the underlying abdominal muscles. What you really need to focus on is a full body strategic workout that will cause a much greater metabolic rate increase and fat-burning hormonal response from your training program as a whole.

 

In addition, simply doing cardiovascular workouts will not necessarily create the greatest metabolic response or hormonal response either. What you really need is a much more rounded training program that focuses on training the entire body with resistance training and multi-joint exercises in a higher intensity fashion.

 

This type of high intensity full body training combined with a healthy balanced diet full of nutrient density on a regular basis, is the real key secret to losing the extra stomach fat that covers up the abs. This is a much better plan of attack than just trying to do ab workouts and hoping that just doing a bunch of ab exercises like crunches and leg raises are going to make you lose your belly fat.

 

The amazing thing is that the majority of the population still believes that in order to get rid of belly fat, you need to do ab workouts every day using hundreds of reps. I see people giving this type of erroneous advice every day on all of the fitness forums. Please do not waste your time with this type of advice!

 

Now before you say “how can an abs expert not recommend abdominal exercises”, realize that I do strongly believe that a certain amount of ab-specific exercises mixed into your routines are beneficial. Ab exercises will help you strengthen and tone the abdominal muscles and are useful for other purposes such as a healthy back and posture when done correctly. But the fact remains that ab exercises are not necessary for fat loss.

 

A much smarter full body resistance training routine and a clean healthy balanced diet are the most important factors. Many of the full body exercises also indirectly work the abdominals and core due to the stabilization required in some of the more difficult variations.

evenly throughout your whole body. If you want to lose weight in
specific areas, you should target them with exercises. If they are
your problem areas, they will be very difficult to tone. You will have
to work double on them. The best approach is this:
1. Lower/control your daily calorie intake (control for normal
weight, lower for overweight).
2. Run/jog to lower your overall body fat percentage.
3. Target your problem areas with exercises.
an excellent exercise, you can do it in front of your TV: sit on a
stool, and put your toes under something (piece of heavy furniture,
for example). In your hands hold a little dumbbell. Please, make sure
that it is not very heavy, start with one kilo, for example, or you
will damage your back and spine! Slowly move the upper part of your
body back, until it’s parallel with the ground. Stop for a second and
move it back to the sitting position. Repeat ten times. Every week add
to the number of repetitions. You will see the results in a week,
guaranteed! You will see or feel under the fat – if you have any – six
pack and muscles. Dumbbells do wonders. Much better than these
crunches – I came up to three hundreds and there was no results AT
ALL. With the dumbbells you will see it in a week.
