Why aren’t the calorie calculators correct?

When I do the calorie calculators to determine how many calories I should eat a day it says about 2200, but there is no way that I could eat that many calories and maintain my weight. I exercise and eat balanced diet, I just want to know how to maintain my weight. I’m good a losing weight and gaining weight I just can’t seem to find a middle ground and am stumped on how to figure out how many calories I should eat a day.

Work out, eat normal portions and eat healthy. Most likely your body will gravitate to a normal weight for you. Why the calorie calculators don’t work perfectly is simply because they are generically designed and there are many, many factors that can alternate the number.
