It is not to scare you, it is to make you aware of the facts and for you to make the right choices. And you can make the right choice.

The first thing to do as a teenager before you get into wanting to lose weight is to accept yourself. Acceptance is one of the big pillars of weight loss. If you appreciate yourself and your body then you will love it enough to want to make it healthy.

Do not start the journey to losing 100 pounds if you hate yourself and you think that you are ugly, or you want to look exactly like someone on TV. It is your body it will only be good as good as you make it yourself.

So if you still want to lose weight, then you are making the right choice. Here are some points to consider.

  1. If you hate exercising then learn to eat healthy. There is no excuse. You either want to lose weight or not.
  • Drink fruit smoothies, eat more fruits and vegetables.
  • Do not try to starve as this will cause problems to your body.
  • Try as much as possible to eat small healthy meals all through the day.
  • Drink water and snack on dried fruits and nuts to avoid the soda and donuts.
  • Try  to avoid buying lunch in school if it constitutes unhealthy food options. have more fruits and vegetables with you for your lunch.
  • Drink a glass of water before eating to reduce the amount of food you will eat.

2. If you hate exercise then get something that will keep you moving.

  • If you are in school you can try walking to the school and avoiding the bus, walking to and from school will help you burn calories without feeling like it is exercise.
  • Find a game in school that will keep you active.
  • Get into a sport that you love and get involved in activities like swimming can be fun and may not be described as a hard boring exercise.

Finally I will not end before saying this. Exercise is one of the best ways to stay healthy, it will be good for you as a teenager with a whole lot of life ahead if you to try to incorporate exercise in your life.

  • This can be as simple as being active in a school team and doing all the drills.
  • Riding your bike around the neighborhood.
  • Being active outside the house and avoiding watching too much TV.

With the rise in obesity among teens, you will be a role model to many if you make the right choice now, to lose 100 pounds and be healthy.

Losing 100 pounds will not happen in on or two months, or six months. It will take you sometime, but if you are consistent you will lose the weight and keep it off. But remember that most people who start out to lose weight give up before six months, you have to have support, be informed and take action.

I have had those moments when I did not want to expose any part of my body during the summer due to the massive amount of fat I added on my hips and tummy during the winter months.

There are many ways to lose weight fast. Some are safe and others very detrimental to the body. Though touted as one one of the best ways to lose weight, fad diets and some diet pills are not the best choice. They may work for some and they may seem as easy ways to lose weight but they are definitely not long lasting.

So what are some of the quick ways to lose weight before the summer months?

Even if you hate it, get some exercise. Well let us not call it exercise, why not and honor to your body. Thirty minutes of cardiovascular everyday is an honor to your body. Running, jogging or brisk walking will make you loose weight fast. If you can do this for six weeks you will start losing weight.

Do some weight lifting. If you can add weight lifting to your cardio, you are on the right on track. Weight lifting will let you burn fat fast, even belly fat.

I had a big issue with belly fat, did the crunches and the like. It was until I used weights, which I had never used before, that I saw a huge difference in my belly size.

Be warned, many people who start out trying to loose weight before the summer, give up and end up scared to go swimming and have fun. You do not have to be one of them. The two mentioned helplines are easy to implement.

In addition make sure you eat the right kind of fat burning foods, you sleep right and stay hydrated.
