These are my own thoughts, but they might be true in a way. This occurs when you continue to <a href="http://healthysnippets.com/exercise/">exercise</a> and your body does not seem to respond. You are not losing any more weight.</p>
<p>Welcome, this is week six in my series, <a href="http://healthysnippets.com/my-six-week-weight-loss-plan-wk-1/" target="_self">my six week weight loss plan</a> also called, <a href="http://healthysnippets.com/my-six-week-weight-loss-plan-wk-1/" target="_self">move down four dress sizes in six weeks</a>. I am sharing my weight loss journey, what I did and continue to do and you can apply it too.</p>
<p>We have already looked at <a href="http://healthysnippets.com/breakfast-smoothie-that-can-help-you-lose-weight-wk2/" target="_self">eating a heavy breakfast to reduce cravings and <a href="http://healthysnippets.com/lose-weight/">lose weight</a></a>. I also shared the tricks to max out your <a href="http://healthysnippets.com/how-to-lose-weight-getting-the-best-from-your-cardio-wk3/" target="_self">cardio </a>and drop the pounds fast, I also introduced <a href="http://healthysnippets.com/how-to-lose-weight-with-weight-lifting-wk4/" target="_self">weight lifting </a>to<a href="http://healthysnippets.com/how-to-lose-weight-with-weight-lifting-wk4/" target="_self"> burn more <a href="http://healthysnippets.com/calories/">calories</a></a> and lose weight in week four. In <a href="http://healthysnippets.com/combined-quick-weight-loss-strategy-wk-5/" target="_self">week five </a>I combined all the three and offered a combined working plan on how you can use all the <a href="http://healthysnippets.com/combined-quick-weight-loss-strategy-wk-5/">strategies <a href="http://healthysnippets.com/to-lose-weight/">to lose weight</a>.</a></p>
<p>However, I found out that you can do all that and reach a level where you exercise and you do not lose any weight, I call it the weight loss block. This happens and such is the time when people give up on the well intended weight loss goals or plans. I have been there and I love to lose pounds when I exercise, it is the reward I should get.</p>
<p>One way to unblock the weight loss block is to FAST. Yes you heard me, fast. Fasting is simply going without food for a period of time for a certain benefit to the body. This is not starving your body to lose weight, like some people do, this is denying your body calories to force it to burn the stored fat, you do it consciously.</p>
<p><strong>Caution!!! You must do this if you are healthy, have no health conditions and not on nay medications.  CONSULT WITH YOUR PHYSICIAN. You must not be pregnant or breastfeeding.  You must be old enough to make such decisions.<br />
</strong></p>
<p>Now, here is the thing, people do not consult their physician and then they have an excuse for not taking action. Let us be honest, if you are healthy and going on with your daily activities, eating well and exercising, then go ahead and have a fast, it will not kill you.
<p>Here is what I do, I give myself a water fast for one day. Find a day when you are not going to be super active and fast for one day, drinking water. If you cannot do this, drink homemade fresh carrot juice for the day.Or if you are like my neighbor from India, eat only raw fresh vegetables the whole day.  The fasting will unblock your body to make it start burning more fat again.</p><p style="float: left;"><script type="text/javascript"><!--

<p><strong>Caution again!! Do not eat junk after the fast, grab some fresh juice and vegetables and eat, slowly break the fast. Or have the <a href="http://healthysnippets.com/breakfast-smoothie-that-can-help-you-lose-weight-wk2/" target="_self">breakfast smoothie</a>. You can have the smoothies anytime, even at night if you break the fast in the evening.</strong></p>
<p>I hope you can try it out. Remember people have stayed in the rubble for eight days without food, a self imposed fast, is very easy, considering that you are doing it for YOU.</p>

<p><a href="http://healthysnippets.com/how-to-lose-weight-getting-the-best-from-your-cardio-wk3/" target="_self">Wk 3 Intensive cardio workout to help body <a href="http://healthysnippets.com/burn-fat/">burn fat</a> and <a href="http://healthysnippets.com/lose-weight-fast-2/">lose weight fast</a>.</a></p>
<p><a href="http://healthysnippets.com/how-to-lose-weight-with-weight-lifting-wk4/" target="_self">Wk4 Weight lifting for continuous weight loss.</a></p>
<p>In week 5 I want to combine <a href="http://healthysnippets.com/breakfast-smoothie-that-can-help-you-lose-weight-wk2/" target="_self">week two</a> to <a href="http://healthysnippets.com/how-to-lose-weight-with-weight-lifting-wk4/" target="_self">week four</a> together into a daily schedule.</p>
<p>If you follow my strategies, then I suggest that you do the <a href="http://healthysnippets.com/exercise/">exercise</a> in the morning for two very practical reasons. You will burn more fat, since you do the exercise before eating, you are using stored fat and in addition doing the exercises in the morning makes you get it out of your mind and over with. You will feel more energized and feel good that you have taken care of YOU before you take care of others, and this is a good thing.</p>
<p>So here is the plan.</p>
<p>Waking up and drinking your water, warm water, add some lemon if you feel like it. Getting out of the door and doing a good running or walking for thirty minutes, sweat, sweat and sweat.</p>
<p>Then in reference to <a href="http://healthysnippets.com/how-to-lose-weight-getting-the-best-from-your-cardio-wk3/" target="_self">weight loss with weight lifting in week three</a>. Do some weight lifting for another twenty minutes. Make sure the arms get <a href="http://healthysnippets.com/how-to-lose-weight-getting-the-best-from-your-cardio-wk3/" target="_self"><em>spaghetti</em> to continue burning fat the whole day.</a></p>
<p>Drink plenty of fluids and wait for one hour before eating.</p>
<p>Make the super duper <a href="http://healthysnippets.com/breakfast-smoothie-that-can-help-you-lose-weight-wk2/" target="_self">weight loss-reduce cravings breakfast smoothie </a>and drink before you take your coffee or tea. Avoid all sugar filled, empty calorie, mystery stuff, like doughnut and soda. If you must have something sweet, the try dried fruits or orange juice.</p>
<p>This is how I was able <a href="http://healthysnippets.com/to-lose-weight/">to lose weight</a> in six weeks. Weight loss is an honor to your body and your body will love you for giving that honor.</p>
<p>If you need help, there are some online weight loss programs that can help you stay on track, they have forums and places people do exchange ideas. Some of the online program that you can check and sample are these;</p>

<p>Know that once you get rid of the sugars and replace them with food suggestions I have in week one, then you are on the right track to <a href="http://healthysnippets.com/losing-weight/">losing weight</a> fast.</p>

<p>There are many workouts that you can do, I got my work out ideas online and by reading books like the and then doing them. The one thing I did was to lift the weights until my arms went <em>spaghetti</em>, this means that my arms could not carry anything anymore, the muscles are done. Here is a simple work out from you tube that I do, it is easy and works really well even for women.</p>

<p>Important: Just like in the<a href="http://healthysnippets.com/how-to-lose-weight-getting-the-best-from-your-cardio-wk3/" target="_self"> intensive weight loss cardio</a>, make sure you lift the weights until your arms get so weak, this way your muscles will continue burning the fat, long after you have stopped doing exercises, it will <a href="http://healthysnippets.com/burn-fat/">burn fat</a> the whole day, that is the joy of lifting weights. Another thing with weight lifting is to do them while your stomach is tucked in, contract the stomach, this helps lose <a href="http://healthysnippets.com/belly-fat/">belly fat</a>. I will discussing more about belly fat later.</p>
